Marshalling Information
International Management Group Saudi Arabia Limited (IMG) appreciates you wanting to become a marshal for the Saudi International powered by SoftBank Investment Advisers and is committed to providing marshals with a supportive environment.
This document sets out what we can each reasonably expect from your marshal role. We hope that you will find your marshal experience enjoyable and rewarding.
Marshal Acknowledgement
You understand that by marshaling at the 2020 Saudi International you may be undertaking duties that are physically demanding and you confirm that you are aware of the associated medical and physical risks involved. Your personal health and fitness will need to be of a sufficient standard to enable you to undertake such marshal services without risk to your health. We expect you to perform your marshal role to the best of your ability and follow our procedures and standards, including health & safety and equal opportunities.
It is your responsibility to wear appropriate clothing and footwear during your marshalling services and to follow any instruction or direction given by us or marshal coordinators (including instructions relating to health and safety and reporting procedures etc), and to attend any marshal briefing or training sessions that may be required.
Please note, in the course of your marshal services, you may be filmed or photographed and you may therefore appear in a television programme, film or video or in material produced for the purposes of marketing and publicity.
For your marshalling services you will be paid a day rate of [250 SAR] per day that you work during the event (“Fee”). You will be employed and will be paid a fee through IMG’s third party staff provider, Event Lab. The Fee will be paid via a Bin Yalla Exchange branch. You will be required to enter into a written agreement with Event Lab prior to commencing your role as a marshal in order to receive the Fee. More information about the Fee and the written agreement can be provided on arrival at the event.
In addition to the Fee, IMG will provide any individual who wants to provide marshalling services for three or more days with some small extras, as set out below:
- Lunch
- Clothing – t-shirt, and cap
- Marshal accreditation including car parking pass
- Season complimentary ticket for your guest
Neither IMG nor Event Lab will otherwise reimburse any other out-of-pocket travel expenses / other expenses incurred in connection with providing your services for the event.
We ask that you give us as much notice as possible if you are unable to provide marshalling services when expected. Additionally, we ask that you give us as much notice as possible if you want to stop providing marshalling services during the course of the event.
