Acuerdo para Voluntarios del VIDANTAWORLD MEXICO OPEN
Nos dará gusto contar con tu participación como voluntario (el "Voluntario") en el Torneo de Golf VIDANTAWORLD MEXICO OPEN del 26 de Octubre al 1 de Noviembre del 2026, de acuerdo con los términos y sujeto a las condiciones establecidos en este Código ("Exención de Obligaciones para voluntarios"). Estamos comprometidos a brindarte apoyo en todo momento. En este documento encontrarás, lo que razonablemente esperamos de tu papel como voluntario. Esperamos que tu experiencia como voluntario resulte agradable y gratificante.
1. Edad
Los Voluntarios del VIDANTAWORLD MEXICO OPEN deben de ser mayores de 16 años a partir del 01/01/2026 para ser considerados para una posición en el torneo. Los Voluntarios de 16 a 18 años podrán formar parte de ciertos comités con previo consentimiento de sus padres. Algunas posiciones requieren un mínimo de 25 años de edad.
2. Turnos / Horarios
Se solicita a los Voluntarios comprometerse a participar en un mínimo de (3) tres días de actividades, los turnos por día tienen una duración aproximada de 7 a 8 horas y en algunos casos específicos un poco más. Podrás (el "Voluntario") realizar turnos adicionales si así lo deseas.
3. Asignación de Comités
Después de completar satisfactoriamente tu registro, serás notificado acerca del comité que te fue asignado y a quién le reportarás (Capitán). Dependiendo del comité al que fuiste asignado, es posible que te solicitemos acudir a sesiones de entrenamiento virtuales y/o presenciales. Esperamos que desempeñes tu rol con tus mejores habilidades y siguiendo nuestros procedimientos y estándares, incluyendo los de salud y seguridad. Estos son los comités que estarán operando durante el VIDANTAWORLD MEXICO OPEN 2026.
4. Capacitación y Orientación
Antes del evento y antes de su primer turno, brindaremos a todos los Voluntarios una capacitación virtual o presencial en la que se explicarán los detalles de sus actividades durante el torneo. También tendremos una página web para voluntarios donde compartiremos detalles sobre nuestro evento como estacionamiento, horario de funcionamiento, calendario de eventos, etc. Esta información también se publicará en nuestro sitio web para voluntarios a medida que esté disponible, por favor revísala periódicamente.
Se pedirá a los voluntarios de ciertos comités, como Walking Scorers y Hospitalidad, que asistan a un entrenamiento programado. Se le informará por correo electrónico de la ubicación y la hora de cualquier capacitación con anticipación. El programa de capacitación también se publicará en la página web de voluntarios.
5. Supervisión y apoyo
Durante tu experiencia como voluntario, no dudes en discutir cualquier problema, queja y / o sugerencia que puedas tener con tu capitán, cualquier miembro del personal del torneo o directamente con los coordinadores de voluntarios del torneo. Si tienes algún problema, inquietud o queja antes del evento, envíe un correo electrónico al Coordinador de voluntarios
Por favor avísanos con la mayor antelación posible si tus planes cambian y no puedes ser voluntario cuando los días o turnos que te fueron asignados.
6. Kit de Voluntario
Ser voluntariado en el MEXICO OPEN es gratuito para cualquier persona que se comprometa a participar con un mínimo de tres días completos de actividades. Por su participación se les proporcionara el siguiente kit de voluntario que incluira:
• Desayuno y almuerzo en sus días de actividades
7. Golf Cart – Exención de Responsabilidad
Los carritos de golf se utilizarán específicamente para el transporte de personas y/o de carga/equipo. Reconociendo que los carritos de golf son vehículos en movimiento, hemos establecido reglas y procedimientos de seguridad para la operación segura de estos vehículos. Los voluntarios deben tener un mínimo de 18 años para operar un carrito de golf que transporta suministros y un mínimo de 25 años para transportar pasajeros. Los voluntarios que utilicen un carrito de golf deberán firmar un Reconocimiento de capacitación en seguridad de carritos de golf y una Exención de responsabilidad por separado antes de operar el carrito de golf.
8. Elegibilidad para voluntarios
Como voluntario del VIDANTAWORLD MEXICO OPEN prometo:
• Estar presente y a tiempo para cualquier turno que se me asigne. Si fallo en presentarme entiendo que no se me permitirá regresar como voluntario en eventos futuros
• Usar mi uniforme durante el desarrollo de mis actividades. El uniforme consiste en la camiseta oficial del México Open, la gorra, zapatos confortables, y un pantalón, short/bermuda de golf o falda de color Gris
• Poner atención al juego en el campo
• Ser ejemplo de comportamiento para los espectadores
• Actuar profesionalmente a todas horas
• Recoger cualquier basura a mi alrededor
• Mantenerme fuera de las cuerdas cuando no esté trabajando
• Contactar a mi Capitán, Staff del Torneo o personal de seguridad si se presenta algún problema con algún espectador o si observo algo fuera de lugar o peligroso
• NO pedir autógrafos o tomar fotografías cuando este usando mi uniforme o realizando las actividades asignadas. Entiendo que si pido autógrafos significa que no se me permitirá ser voluntario en eventos futuros
• NO consumir bebidas alcohólicas cuando este realizando mis actividades asignadas o usando mi uniforme
• NO iniciar conversaciones con ningún jugador, en cambio solo contestar si algún jugador te pregunta algo
• NO caminar por el green
• NO usar lenguaje profano
• NO operar ningún carrito de golf a menos de que sea asignado a mi y durante mis actividades como voluntario
• ¡PASAR UN RATO AGRADABLE!
9. Conocimiento de protocolo de COVID- 19
En relación con tus actividades de voluntariado, incluidas las actividades de un voluntario menor de edad ("Menor") para quien se otorgue el consentimiento por parte del guardian legal del Menor, los voluntarios y los guardianes legales correspondientes ("Voluntarios") aceptan y comprenden esa presencia durante el torneo (las "facilidades") y cualquier actividad o servicio voluntario realizado para el Torneo, la Instalación, PGA TOUR, el patrocinador principal (si lo hubiera), la organización anfitriona y sus afiliadas y subsidiarias, así como sus respectivos funcionarios, directores, agentes, miembros, los empleados y funcionarios, así como cualquier otro voluntario (colectivamente, "Partes indemnizadas") pueden exponer a los voluntarios a riesgos desconocidos e imprevistos de daños o lesiones. En particular, reconozco que he recibido y leído el “Aviso específico sobre COVID-19 para voluntarios” que se me ha proporcionado.
En consideración y como un prerrequisito para la participación como voluntario, los voluntarios y tutores legales en nombre de los Menores reconocen que existen tales riesgos, asumen todos esos riesgos, incluidos todos los riesgos relacionados con COVID-19, y liberan y exoneran a las Partes Indemnizadas de cualquier y todos los reclamos por responsabilidad por lesiones o enfermedades personales (incluida la muerte) o daños a la propiedad que dichos voluntarios o Menores puedan sufrir mientras realizan las actividades asignadas o servicio voluntario, ya sea en las instalaciones de la Instalación o no, incluido, sin limitación, cualquier reclamo que surja de cualquier condición de las instalaciones propiedad de la Instalación o utilizadas por PGA TOUR para, o conducta de cualquier persona durante la preparación, supervisión o conducción del torneo o cualquier ronda de práctica o actividad relacionada con él. Los voluntarios aceptan toda la responsabilidad por los costos del tratamiento de cualquier enfermedad y / o lesión o daños sufridos durante el voluntariado en relación con el torneo. Los voluntarios reconocen haber leído este comunicado y aceptan regirse por los términos establecidos en este documento en consideración por la prestación de servicios voluntarios.
10. Deslinde de responsabilidad, Exención de Obligaciones para Voluntarios y Uso de Imagen
En consideración de que el comité organizador me permita participar como voluntario sin ninguna compensación monetaria en el torneo VIDANTAWORLD MEXICO OPEN 2026 (la “Actividad”), por medio del presente, por mi propio derecho y/o como padre, tutor o responsable del menor Voluntario, acepto y me comprometo a cumplir con los siguientes términos y condiciones:
Reconozco y acepto que mi participación en la Actividad es de carácter estrictamente voluntario por lo que no implica la existencia de una relación de trabajo o el pago de un salario, y que la misma se lleva a cabo bajo mi exclusiva responsabilidad, asumiendo expresamente todos y cada uno de los riesgos asociados, incluyendo de manera enunciativa más no limitativa, riesgos de lesiones personales, daños corporales, enfermedad, incapacidad, parálisis o muerte, así como daños o pérdida de bienes.
De igual forma declaro bajo protesta de decir verdad que, cuento con la autorización o representación para manifestar el consentimiento para el tratamiento de Datos Personales, incluyendo los catalogados como Datos Personales Sensibles, del menor que represento, dentro de los cuales se incluye a las personas menores de edad y personas que se encuentren en estado de interdicción o incapacidad establecida por ley.
PROGRAMA DE INTEGRIDAD: El Programa de Integridad del PGA TOUR está destinado a mantener la integridad y prevenir la corrupción relacionada con el ser-estar relacionado en las competencias del PGA TOUR. Cada voluntario está sujeto a los términos del Manual del Programa de Integridad del PGA TOUR (el “Manual del Programa de Integridad”). El Manual del Programa de Integridad, entre otras cosas: prohíbe que los voluntarios apuesten en el Torneo y proporcionen información privilegiada a terceros con fines de apuestas y del Torneo; y requiere que los voluntarios informen cualquier violación del Manual del Programa de Integridad al TOUR. Una violación del Programa de Integridad puede resultar en el despido del Torneo como voluntario, entre otras consecuencias. Al continuar con su registro, usted acepta y reconoce cumplir con estos términos y condiciones.
11. Ley Aplicable y Jurisdicción
Para la interpretación, cumplimiento y ejecución del presente documento, las partes acuerdan someterse expresamente a las leyes del Estado de Jalisco, México, así como a la jurisdicción de los tribunales competentes del Primer Partido Judicial del Estado de Jalisco, con sede en la Zona Metropolitana de Guadalajara y Zapopan, México, renunciando de manera expresa e irrevocable a cualquier otro fuero que pudiera corresponderles por razón de su domicilio presente o futuro o por cualquier otra causa.
Al continuar con el proceso de registro y completar el registro en línea, se considerará que ha firmado electrónicamente y aceptado los términos de este Acuerdo de Voluntariado y que seguirá las pautas establecidas en el Manual del voluntario. Esto confirmará que comprende y acepta cumplir con los términos de este Acuerdo de voluntariado.
MEXICO OPEN Volunteer Agreement
We are delighted to engage you (the "Volunteer") to provide assistance as a Volunteer in connection with the 2026 VIDANTAWORLD MEXICO OPEN (“MXO”) Golf Tournament on October 26 - November 1, 2026, upon the terms and subject to the conditions set out within this Code (“Volunteer Code”). We are committed to providing volunteers with a supportive environment. This document sets out what we can each reasonably expect from your volunteering role. We hope that you will find your volunteer experience enjoyable and rewarding.
1. Age
Volunteers for the MXO event must be at least 16 years of age as of 1/1/2026 to be considered for a volunteer position at the Tournament. Volunteers ages 16 to 18 will be able to participate in select committees with Parental Consent. Some positions require a minimum of 25 years of age.
2. Shifts/Hours
Volunteers are asked for a minimum commitment of (3) three shifts, each shift is approximately of 7 to 8 hours. Volunteers will be able and encouraged to take additional shifts if desired.
3. Committee Assignment
After successfully completing your registration, you will be notified of your specific assigned committee and to whom you will report to (Committee Chairman/Captain). Depending on your assigned committee you may be required and asked to attend scheduled trainings.
4. Training and Orientation
We will also have a Volunteer Webpage where we will share specifics about our event like parking, operating hours, schedule of events, etc. This information will also be posted in our Volunteer Website as it becomes available so, please check it out periodically.
Volunteers from certain Committees such as Walking Scorers and hospitality will be asked to attend a scheduled training. You will be informed via email of the location and time of any training(s) in advance. Training schedule will also be posted on the Volunteer Webpage.
5. Supervision and Support
During your volunteering experience please feel free to discuss any problems, complaints and/or suggestions you might have with your chairperson, any member of the Tournament Staff or directly with the MXO Volunteer Coordinators. If you have any problems, concerns, or complaints before the event, please email: Volunteer Coordinator
Please give us as much notice as possible if your plans change and you are unable to volunteer when expected or if you want to stop volunteering during the event by logging into your volunteer account and updating your availability.
6. Volunteer Package and Fee
Volunteering at the Mexico Open is free for anyone committing to a minimum of three full days of work and includes the following package:
• Official Tournament Golf Shirt
• Breakfast & Lunch on your workdays
7. Golf Cart Acknowledgement/Waiver
Golf carts are specifically used for the transportation of persons but are used for utility purposes as well. Recognizing that golf carts are moving vehicles we have established safety rules and procedures for the safe operation of these vehicles. Volunteers must be 18 years old to operate a golf cart transporting supplies and 25 years old to transport passengers. Volunteers using a golf cart will be required to sign a separate Golf Cart Safety Training Acknowledgement and Liability Release prior to operating the golf cart.
8. Elegibility
As a volunteer for the VIDANTAWORLD MEXICO OPEN 2026, I promise to:
• Be present and on time for each shift assigned to me. If I have a problem or being on time with my assignment or shift, I will immediately notify my Chair, Captain or Director in advance. If I fail to show up, I understand I will not be allowed to return as a volunteer in future years
• Wear my uniform for each shift. The uniform consists of the Mexico Open official shirt, hat, comfortable shoes, and Grey colour pants, golf shorts or skirt.
• Pay attention to play activity on the course and not interfere
• Be an example of good behaviour for our spectators and to follow our procedures and standards, including health and safety.
• Always act professional
• Pick up trash in my vicinity
• Stay outside the ropes when off duty
• Contact my Chair/Captain, Tournament Staff or Tournament Security if presented with a problem by any spectator or if I see something wrong or dangerous.
• NOT seek autographs or pictures while performing my duties or wearing my uniform. I understand that seeking autographs while working will mean I will not be allowed to return as a volunteer in future years
• NOT smoke or drink alcoholic beverages while working or using my uniform
• NOT initiate conversation with any player. You are allowed to speak when spoken to first.
• NOT walk on the putting greens
• NOT use foul or profane language
9. COVID-19 Safety Acknowledgment
In connection with your volunteer activities, including the activities of an underage volunteer (“Minor”) for whom consent is given as such Minor’s legal guardian, volunteers and applicable legal guardians (“Volunteers”) agree and understand that presence during the Championship (the “Facility”) and any volunteer work or services performed for the Tournament, the Facility, PGA TOUR, the title sponsor (if any), the host organization, and their affiliates and subsidiaries as well as their respective officers, directors, agents, members, employees and officials as well as any other volunteer (collectively, “Indemnified Parties”) may expose volunteers to unknown and unanticipated risks of harm or injury. In particular, I acknowledge I have received and read the “Specific Notice Regarding COVID-19 to Volunteers” provided to me.
In consideration of and as a prerequisite to participation as a volunteer, volunteers and legal guardians on behalf of Minors acknowledge that such risks exist, assume all such risks including all risks related to COVID-19, and release and discharge the Indemnified Parties from any and all claims for liability for personal injury or illness (including death) or property damage that such volunteers or Minors may suffer while performing the volunteer work or service, whether or not on the premises of the Facility, including, without limitation, any claim arising out of any condition of the premises owned by the Facility or used by PGA TOUR for, or conduct of any person during preparation, supervision or conduct of, the Championship or any practice round or activity related to it. Volunteers accept full responsibility for the costs of treatment for any illness and/or injury or damages suffered while volunteering in connection with the Championship. Volunteers acknowledge having read this release and agree to be bound by the terms set forth herein in consideration for performing volunteer services.
10. Release of Liability, Volunteer Waiver & Release and Image Use
In consideration of the organizing committee allowing me to participate as a volunteer without any monetary compensation in the VIDANTAWORLD MEXICO OPEN 2026 tournament (the “Activity”), I hereby, on my own behalf and/or as parent, guardian, or legal custodian of the minor Volunteer, agree to comply with the following terms and conditions:
I acknowledge and agree that my participation in the Activity is strictly voluntary and undertaken at my sole risk and responsibility, and I expressly assume any and all risks associated therewith, including, without limitation, risks of personal injury, bodily harm, illness, disability, paralysis or death, as well as damage to or loss of property.
Furthermore, I acknowledge and agree that the Activity is organized, coordinated and carried out with the joint participation of Operadora Turística Hotelera, S.A. de C.V. (“OTH”), as well as Global Golf Management, SPORTFIVE, PGA TOUR Inc., sponsors, service providers, and any other entities that directly or indirectly participate in the organization, promotion, and execution of the VIDANTAWORLD MEXICO OPEN (the “Organizers”), who may act jointly or independently within the scope of their respective roles and responsibilities.
Accordingly, I hereby release, waive, and hold harmless the Organizers, as well as their respective affiliates, subsidiaries, related companies, sponsors, and any other individual or entity that directly or indirectly participates in the Activity, including their directors, officers, employees, agents, representatives, and contractors (collectively, the “Released Parties”), from any and all liability, claims, demands, damages, losses, costs or expenses, whether present or future, arising directly or indirectly from my participation in the Activity. I further agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless the Released Parties from and against any and all damages caused to the Organizers, third parties, or their property as a result of my actions, including reasonable legal fees, costs, and defense expenses.
I acknowledge and agree that, to the maximum extent permitted under applicable law, any liability attributable to the Released Parties shall be limited exclusively to proven direct damages, expressly excluding any indirect, consequential, incidental, punitive damages or loss of profits, except in cases of gross negligence or willful misconduct directly attributable to the relevant party.
Furthermore, I agree that any claim related to the Activity shall be brought exclusively against the party directly responsible in accordance with applicable law, and in no event against the Released Parties, except in the circumstances described above.
I hereby grant permission for the VIDANTAWORLD MEXICO OPEN, any of the Organizers, or its authorized representatives to arrange for emergency medical treatment and/or transport on my behalf if medical attention is deemed necessary and appropriate by such parties. I hereby agree to pay the costs of any such treatment or transport arranged on my behalf.
I hereby grant permission for the VIDANTAWORLD MEXICO OPEN, any of the Organizers, or its sponsors, without request for compensation of any kind, the perpetual, worldwide rights to take both visual and/or audio recordings, still pictures, and other media records of me during my participation as a volunteer in the Activity. I understand these recordings, pictures, and media may be used in various types of programming, promotional/marketing materials, and others media for the purpose of advertising, marketing and/or promoting the VIDANTAWORLD MEXICO OPEN at Vidanta World or any of its subsidiaries and sponsors. I understand and agree that if any term or condition in this form is found by a court of law to be unenforceable of invalid, that shall not affect the other terms or conditions of this form, which shall remain binding and enforceable.
By accepting this document, I hereby declare and acknowledge that I have read and fully understood OTH’s Privacy Notice, and I hereby grant my free, express, informed, and unequivocal consent for the processing of the Personal Data that I voluntarily provide, including those classified as Sensitive Personal Data, in accordance with and for the purposes set forth in its Privacy Notice and the applicable laws of the United Mexican States.
Likewise, I hereby declare under oath that I have the necessary authorization or legal capacity to provide consent for the processing of Personal Data, including those classified as Sensitive Personal Data, of the minor I represent, including minors and individuals who are legally declared incapacitated or under guardianship as provided by law.
INTEGRITY PROGRAM: The PGA TOUR Integrity Program is intended to maintain integrity and prevent being-related corruption in PGA TOUR competitions. Each volunteer is subject to the terms of the PGA TOUR Integrity Program Manual (the “Integrity Program Manual”). The Integrity Program Manual, among other things: prohibits volunteers from betting on the Tournament and providing inside information to third parties for purposes of betting and the Tournament; and requires volunteers to report any violations of the Integrity Program Manual to the TOUR. A violation of the Integrity Program may result in dismissal from volunteering for the Tournament, among other consequences. By proceeding with your registration you accept and acknowledge abiding by these terms and conditions.
11. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
For the interpretation, performance, and enforcement of this document, the parties expressly agree to submit to the laws of the State of Jalisco, Mexico, and to the jurisdiction of the competent courts of the First Judicial District of the State of Jalisco, located in the Metropolitan Area of Guadalajara and Zapopan, Mexico, expressly and irrevocably waiving any other jurisdiction that may correspond to them by reason of their present or future domicile or for any other reason.
By continuing with the registration process and completing the online registration, you will be deemed to have electronically signed and agreed to the terms of this Volunteering Engagement and that you will follow the guidelines stated in the Volunteer Handbook. This will confirm that you understand and agree to comply with the terms of this Volunteering Engagement.
