LIV Nashville Volunteer Agreement
We are delighted to engage you (the "Volunteer") to provide assistance as a Volunteer in connection with the 2024 LIV Nashville (“Tournament”) Golf Tournament on June 21-23, 2024, upon the terms and subject to the conditions set out within this Code (“Volunteer Code”). We are committed to providing volunteers with a supportive environment. This document sets out what we can each reasonably expect from your volunteering role. We hope that you will find your volunteer experience enjoyable and rewarding.
1. Age
Volunteers for the LIV Nashville event must be at least 16 years of age as of 7/1/2024 to be considered for a volunteer position at the Tournament. Volunteers ages 16 to 18 will be able to participate in select committees with Parental Consent. Some positions require a minimum of 21 years of age.
2. Shifts/Hours
Volunteers are asked for a minimum commitment of (3) three shifts, each shift is approximately 7 to 8 hours. Volunteers will be able and encouraged to take additional shifts if desired. Most committees will operate with only one shift per day.
3. Committee Assignment
After successfully completing your registration, you will be notified of your specific assigned committee and to whom you will report to (Committee Chairperson/Captain). Depending on your assigned committee you may be required and asked to attend scheduled on-line or in-person trainings.
4. Training and Orientation
Prior to our event we will distribute a Volunteer Orientation manual where we will share specifics about our event like parking, operating hours, schedule of events, trainings, etc. This manual will be available the week before our tournament once most our our planning gets completed.
Volunteers from certain Committees such as Ball Spotters and Hospitality will be asked to attend a scheduled training. You will be informed via email of the location and time of any training(s) in advance. The training schedule will also be posted in the Volunteer Dashboard.
5. Supervision and Support
During your volunteering experience please feel free to discuss any problems, complaints and/or suggestions you might have with your committee chairperson or any member of the Tournament Staff or directly with the LIV Nashville Volunteer Coordinator. If you have any problems, concerns, or complaints before the event, please email: Nashville.volunteers@sportfive.com
Please give us as much notice as possible if your plans change and you are unable to volunteer when expected or if you want to stop volunteering during the event by logging into your volunteer account and updating your availability.
6. Volunteer Program, Package and Fee
Volunteering at the LIV Nashville event is free.
All Volunteers will receive a LIV Volunteer Package consisting of:
• (1) Official logoed Golf Hat or Visor
• Breakfast, Lunch & Snacks on your workdays
• Volunteers confirmed for a minimum of 3 shifts are eligible to receive up to two (2) ground any day tickets
When you check in at Volunteer Headquarters (VHQ) for your first day of volunteer work, you will be issued a tournament logoed Volunteer bib which can be used on top of your own clothes. You are permitted to wear appropriate golf attire shorts of any color. The Volunteer bib will identify you as part of our Volunteer Team and should be worn at all times while completing your shifts. You will keep this bib for the duration of the event, however we kindly request that you return the bib at the end of your last shift.
Upon competition of all your assigned shifts and return of the Volunteer bib to VHQ, as a token of appreciation you will receive*:
• (1) Official logoed Volunteer Bag
• (1) Official logoed Golf Shirt
• (1) Official logoed Golf Jacket
• For any volunteers completing a minimum of 3 shifts they will receive an additional prize.

7. Golf Cart Acknowledgement/Waiver
Golf carts are specifically used for the transportation of people but can also be used for utility purposes as well. Recognizing that golf carts are moving vehicles we have established safety rules and procedures for the safe operation of these vehicles. Volunteers must be 18 years old to operate a golf cart, 21 years old to transport passengers and must have a valid driver’s license. Volunteers using a golf cart will be required to sign a separate Golf Cart Safety Training Acknowledgement and Liability Release prior to operating the golf cart.
8. Eligibility
As a volunteer for the LIV Nashville Championship 2024, I promise to:
• Be present and on time for each shift assigned to me. If I have a problem or being on time with my assignment or shift, I will immediately notify my Chair or Captain in advance. If I fail to show up, I understand I will not be allowed to return as a volunteer in future years
• Wear the Volunteer Bib for each shift.
• Pay attention to play activity on the course and not interfere
• Be an example of good behavior for our spectators and to follow our procedures and standards, including health and safety.
• Always act professional
• Pick up trash in my vicinity
• Stay outside the ropes when off duty
• Contact my Chair/Captain, Tournament Staff or Tournament Security if presented with a problem by any spectator or if I see something wrong or dangerous.
• NOT seek autographs or pictures while performing my duties or wearing my Volunteer bib. I understand that seeking autographs while working will mean I will not be allowed to return as a volunteer in future years
• NOT smoke or drink alcoholic beverages while working or using my Volunteer bib
• NOT initiate conversation with any player. You are allowed to speak when spoken to first.
• NOT walk on the putting greens
• NOT use foul or profane language
Volunteer Waiver & Release
In consideration of the LIV Nashville allowing me the opportunity to participate as a Volunteer without any monetary compensation in the LIV Nashville 2024 (“Activity”), I hereby accept and agree to the following terms and conditions:
I understand and hereby assume any and all risks associated with my participation in the Activity, including but not limited to the risks of personal injury, bodily injury, illness, paralysis, disability, or death and any damage to or loss of property. I release the LIV Nashville as well as any other related person or entity located in the Golf Facilities; Global Golf Management, SPORTFIVE, LIV Golf, and any other sponsor of the event and their respective representatives, agents, employees, officers and any subsidiaries, or affiliates of the foregoing entities; participating players, and all agents thereof from any and all liabilities resulting from such cases.
I hereby grant permission for the LIV Nashville or its authorized representatives to arrange for emergency medical treatment and/or transport on my behalf if medical attention is deemed necessary and appropriate by such parties. I hereby agree to pay the costs of any such treatment or transport arranged on my behalf.
I hereby grant permission for the LIV Nashville or its sponsors, without request for compensation of any kind, the perpetual, worldwide rights to take both visual and/or audio recordings, still pictures, and other media records of me during my participation as a volunteer in the Activity. I understand these recordings, pictures, and media may be used in various types of programming, promotional/marketing materials, and others media for the purpose of advertising, marketing and/or promoting the LIV Nashville or any of its subsidiaries and sponsors. I understand and agree that if any term or condition in this form is found by a court of law to be unenforceable of invalid, that shall not affect the other terms or conditions of this form, which shall remain binding and enforceable.
By continuing with the registration process and completing the online registration, you will be deemed to have electronically signed and agreed to the terms of this Volunteering Engagement and that you will follow the guidelines stated in the Volunteer Handbook. This will confirm that you understand and agree to comply with the terms of this Volunteering Engagement.
Volunteer Committees
STANDARD BEARERS: (Friday - Sunday)
Volunteers on this committee will be responsible for walking with a designated group of players and posting their scores on a standard. Volunteer needs to be able to carry the standard (weight approximately 5-7 pounds) while walking 18 holes..
Shift is approximately 6 hours per day.
MARSHALS: (Friday- Sunday)
Volunteers will be assigned to specific holes. Marshals will be responsible in controlling the flow of spectators behind the ropes, the players and officials inside the ropes. Moderate walking and standing.
Friday- Sunday one 5-6 hour all day shift available, start times are the same due to shotgun format
HOSPITALITY: (Friday- Sunday)
Greet guests and check credentials at entrances to sponsored hospitality locations. Assist corporate clients as necessary to ensure the best possible experience. Ensure that only properly credentialed clients are allowed in private hospitality areas.

PRO-AM: (Wednesday & Thursday)
Support activities that surround the Pro-Am events Tuesday and Wednesday. Meet and Greet sponsors at the Pro-Am Draw Party, Tuesday night. Along with support on Wednesday with Pro-Am registration and gift distribution.
One shift Tuesday PM Shift 5:30PM - 8:30PM. Two shifts available Wednesday, AM or PM
ADMISSIONS & INFORMATION: (Thursday - Sunday)
Committee members are posted at admission gates to greet and check spectators for proper credentials. Volunteers will also handle Will Call and General Information.
Shifts available Friday-Sunday
PRACTICE AREAS: (Monday - Sunday)
Manages distribution of golf balls to players and caddies. Crowd control in practice area. Moderate level of walking, standing and moderate physical labor.
Shift available every day, Monday-Sunday
BALL POSITION: (Friday- Sunday)
Responsible for determining ball position information to record various aspects of player statistics, including but not limited to stroke distance, stroke location, and distance to the hole on all 18 holes. Familiarity with technology and golf knowledge preferred. On-site training may be mandatory.
Broadcast Drivers: (Thursday- Saturday)
Assist event broadcast team with production needs during the event. Assist LIV golf camera operators with things like setup, moving cameras and tripods.
UNIFORM DISTRIBUTION/ VOLUNTEER HEADQUARTERS: (Saturday - Sunday before our tournament):
Distribute volunteer bibs in a manner that is efficient and customer-oriented as each volunteer shows up for their first shift. The following days will consist of distributing incentive gifts for every shift worked.
(VHQ): (Monday - Sunday)
Provide volunteer hospitality functions during the tournament. Set up and maintain food and beverage areas. Minimal walking or standing. These volunteers may also fill in any last-minute needs and open spots in other committees.
PRODUCT DISTRIBUTION: (Sunday - Sunday)
Responsible for distribution of food and beverage to on-course locations. Must have a valid driver’s license. Moderate level of walking, standing and moderate physical labor.
Two shifts available AM or PM
GOLF CART MANAGEMENT: (Monday - Sunday)
Responsible for maintaining and distributing Volunteer Golf Carts during the tournament. This includes the proper inventory of carts for use by Volunteers and Staff, managing the golf cart keys, staging the carts each morning and ensuring that all carts are returned and plugged to be charged at the end of the day.
Two shifts available every day, AM or PM
VOLUNTEER/ADA & PLAYER SHUTTLES: (Monday - Sunday)
Responsible for shuttling volunteers to their workstations and players from green to tee on several holes on course. Must have a valid driver’s license. Minimal walking or standing.
