You and/or your child or ward (hereafter “You”) have graciously volunteered to serve at the 2022 Guardian Championship event. You acknowledge that there are certain inherent risks associated with outdoor activities including golf and you assume all such risks, known and unknown in exchange and as consideration for serving as a volunteer at this facility and/or event. You hereby voluntarily release, waive, agree to hold harmless and indemnify Sunbelt Golf Corporation d/b/a the Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail, the Robert Trent Jones Foundation, the Retirement Systems of Alabama, the Teachers Retirement Systems of Alabama, and their lessor(s), their respective officers, directors, employees and agents from all loss(es), damages, costs (including attorneys’ fees and legal costs), actions or claims for the personal injury, death or property damage arising in any way from participating as a volunteer or in any other capacity whatsoever including, but not limited to, those injuries that might result from the condition of the premises. You agree that You will be solely responsible for any and all expenses, including medical and related bills and property damages that You might incur as a result of You serving as a volunteer including, but not limited to, cart operation. You agree that this general release applies to the fullest extent allowed by applicable law to both known and unknown hazards and you assume the risk of any and all such hazards. You further acknowledge that none of the released parties will have purchased any insurance for your benefit.
I acknowledge that I have read this release before signing it and agree to be bound by its terms in consideration for being permitted to volunteer at the event. I further acknowledge that I am over nineteen years old and/or that my parent or legal guardian has also signed below.
