Birdies for Babies Donation
Help us meet our goal! For every birdie made during Tournament week the Tournament will be donating money to the Morton Plant Mease Health Care Foundation for the Birdies for Babies program. All donations will go toward height-adjustable bassinets and sleep sacks for babies. The height-adjustable bassinets are designed to keep infants close to their mothers without compromising safety. This provides mothers, who may be unable to leave their hospital bed, easier access to care, comfort and feed their infant as well as the ability to quickly reach their child. The sleep sacks are a way to promote safe sleep practices and reduce the risk of SIDS. As an alternative to swaddling infants, the sleep sacks reduce suffocation risk and allows the infants arms to be free. New mothers will be discharged with education and two (2) sleep sacks to promote safe sleep practices. Click here to learn more.
